Raised Center AisleThe traditional look of the RCA barn makes it the most popular barn style among horse owners. This style offers maximum light with ventilation control by allowing the option of sliding windows which are inset between upper and lower roof lines. It is also considered a visual upgrade by many, and is available in pitches from 2/12 - 6/12.
You may choose to add a few different types of porch rooflines by extending the RCA roofline or designing a Gable roof line for your porch system. By closing off the 12’ or 16’ aisle with breezeway doors, this will allow you to cross-tie your horse in the aisle for the farrier, vet or the grooming of your horse in bad weather or good. |
GableThe gable roof is attractive yet cost effective with only one roof line. With pitches from a shallow 2/12 to a steeper 6/12, you can meet your own individual needs. A Gable barn is a cost effective way to have a center aisle and still have ventilation throughout the barn. You still have the option to enclose your barn completely with Breezeway Doors.

InlineThis barn is an excellent choice for warm weather climates and in areas where space is limited. This versatile barn is available with a 2’, 10’ or 14’ overhang that can be designed as an Inline, "U", "H", "L" or back-to-back barn to maximize your work area. With the overhang option, you still have protection for your horse, with plenty of working area around your barn.
